Christmas

Well... our decorations are down, and it's time for a recap. Althought I have NO pictures! We started Christmas 2009 with a visit to Scottsboro. We drove up on Saturday the 19th, and had dinner with Dad and Sandra. We went to church with my grandparents on Sunday, then had lunch and opened presents at Dad's house. That night we went over to Huntsville to visit Sandra's daughter, her husband and their child. We headed back to Auburn on Monday.

After several days of laundry, cleaning, and Drew working, it was Christmas Eve. Drew had to work that night, so I went to church with his aunt and uncle and he joined us for dinner at their house. Bright & early the next morning, we headed south to Opp. We enjoyed Christmas morning in Opp (my first) and then joined the family that evening for dinner and family gifts.

The 26th was spent driving to Birmingham and opening presents with mom and grandparents. We stopped by Drew's dad's parents on Sunday and then headed back home. Now several days later, I've finally caught up on laundry and cleaning up and we're heading back to Scottsboro tomorrow! Happy New Year Everyone!

Graduation

Most people who know me, know that my brother runs track for Auburn. He is supposed to graduate in May 2010 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and also a Buisness Minor. This summer I was putting dates on my new calendar (yes- I'm a dork) and I realized that his SEC Track Meet and Graduation were scheduled for the same day! YIKES!
We started talking about it, and since he starts his job in Houston in July, he could not come back and walk in August. So, Jager took the lead and got in touch with several different people on campus. He, and several other athletes, got permission from the Graduation Committee and the Dean of their respective colleges to go ahead and walk early. Obviously, he didn't get his diploma, but he did walk on Friday. We had the family over for lunch before the graduation ceremony. It was a fun day for all!

Long Time, No Blog

Since the last time I blogged, a lot has gone on, but I don't necessarily have pictures to show for it! We had some people over to watch the Auburn-Georgia game...

Kate had fun hanging out with Dad

Tucker fell asleep on the carpet

We had Thanksgiving with Drew's family at Mike and Susan's farm. (I don't have any pictures from that day...Missy took them all). We enjoyed the Iron Bowl, though we didn't necessarily enjoy the outcome. We decorated the house for Christmas. I'll put those pictures in another post.
I've been to Sips-N-Strokes multiple times, all with different friends, and had a great time each time. I had a fun few weeks with my class as well. We made tons of Christmas ornaments, watched tons of Christmas movies, had pajama day and a party! Plus, we took some cute pictures, but I left those at school!
Then on Friday, my brother walked at Graduation. That'll be another post! It's been a busy, but fun few weeks. For now, I'm enjoying my time off from work and getting ready to celebrate Christmas with our families!
