When we moved into the house last March I started getting furniture from family members' attics. I got these two awesome chairs from my grandmother's house and found some fabric to recover them with. The only problem is I wanted to have the chairs stained before we recover them. They are white washed and the rest of our furniture is dark wood. I'm sick of looking at the ugly elephant fabric on them. I would do it myself, but I'm pretty sure they need stripping and staining and I just don't know if I'm for all of that. Does anyone know any body who stains furniture for a reasonable price? The only quote I have gotten locally was like $60 an hour... YIKES!
