One of those days...

My shoes broke at 9:30 this morning. I've hot glued them together twice. They broke for a third time as I left the car circle and I decided that since the kids were gone I wasn't worrying about it.
I jammed my finger on a chair.... don't ask me how!
But this weather has been fantastic!!

G-ed again

The rest of the classroom had been cleaned up from center time. G was in homeliving... where I thought he was putting up the last few toys (since it was clean up time)... and what do I find, but G emptying out the cabinets. This was the 3rd time we had helped him clean up home living center on this day. And this picture was after some of his friends had helped him pick up the food that was ALL over the floor!
Notice the doors are no longer on the furniture and he really wanted to be in the picture!!!!

Lunch?

"My mom and my dad are bring my lunchbox"
*Do you really think mom &/or dad packed this one???

Game

Okay y'all... we were at the game on Saturday in all that rainy mess. When the rain slacked up, I was looking around and this is what I saw...Yeah... gross. I know. If only I could have gotten a video of this guy. Y'all he was dancing around like the students. The fat was jiggling. It was disgusting!!!!
Do people not have any limits any more???

Not an artist...

I was helping one of my children today... I was trying to get him to draw a person with a body, not just a head with arms and legs. We were drawing a little girl with braids. This was my picture and he said "She looks like a clown!" I laughed and laughed!

Tailgating

Saturday marked the start of college football season...
I can't say that I was 100% excited about it this year. I don't know if it's the four home games in a row. Or the fact that I hardly see my husband because of his "required" overtime. We did have a great time on Saturday.
I've tailgated with the Wachs/Bryant Families for 7 years now! WOW! I can't believe it's been that long. They took me in when I was a freshman and my family did not come down every week.
Here are some pictures from Saturday:

Jager stopped by for a few minutes.

Ashley and I have a picture together almost every year from the first game!

Drew was able to stop by and eat. Last year he wouldn't let anyone near the T3. This year... I got a picture on it!

Overheard

"My mom had some cold slob for dinner."

Oh What A Night!

I had was priviledged to go to chapter last night as an advisor. It was different being in the new chapter room with a new set up. It definitely was an interesting night. I was sitting in the front with the officers. The Tiger Splashers came in to make an announcement, and when they were finished the male freshman swimmers came running in...in their speedos...with their butt cracks hanging out. I have not laughed so hard in a long time! I only wish I had a camera to get a snapshot of the view :).
