My oh my! We are only a few months away from two! It is so hard to believe. Looking through old pictures, it seems like just yesterday she was learning to crawl, and it's been well over a year!
*Parker is loads of fun right now, but let's be real... we are three months away from two and at times, we act every bit of two years old.
*An update from last month... she still holds up one finger, but will say "two", "fee" (three), "fo" (four), or "fibe" (five). Typically we say one and see if she says two and go that route. I think she has tried to count past five but I'm not sure.
*They have been working on letters A and B at school. We were in Office Max last week and they had a sign with a B on it. She walked straight to it and said B. I pointed to an A and she said B. Hey we're getting there. Her letters in her bathtub are all "Bs" and "Ps" apparently :).
*Parker is still very into books. She would try to read every book in her room at bed time if we would let her. She still loves her Monkey book, but is very into Hello, Aubie right now too. She loves looking at my magazines too.
*She is still surprising me with new words every day. Some of my current favorites are "nilk" (milk), "ni ni" (night night), "wuv oo"(love you), and "buk" (book). Oh and she calls a camera "chee" (cheese).
*Parker refers to herself as baby. She will see a picture of herself and point to it and say "Baby". If I ask if Parker needs a new diaper, she will point to her chest and say "baby".
*Parker is a huge momma's girl right now. I guess daddy's crazy schedule doesn't help matters.
*Eating update (for momma's notes): Parker eats wonderfully at school. She usually eats everything they serve...fruits, veggies, everything. At home, she is pickier. I think she knows Momma won't let her starve. She will sometimes eat the fruits and veggies given to her, but not always. She is not a huge fan of sandwiches or anything on a bun, and she is not crazy about beef (hamburgers, steak, etc) unless it is in a casserole or pasta. She LOVES "mac mac" (macaroni and cheese) and "dogs" (hotdogs), and anything with noodles.
