We had a great week at the beach with Drew's family. I did not take nearly enough pictures of all the fun we had, or the people who were with us. We got to see everyone but Riley during the week!

After our disaster at the beach last time, I picked up a baby pool to take with us. I was hopeful that Parker would be okay in the baby pool on the beach...and she was. Parker did not like the sand....at all... but she did enjoy playing in the baby pool.

On Wednesday, we tried putting her on a beach towel to see if she would play in the sand, and she wouldn't. Each time her hand or foot touched the sand, we had to rinse it in her bucket of water, so back into the pool we went.

That night, we had plans of letting Parker stay up late to watch the fireworks. After dinner, we played around the condo. We went swinging, watched daddy ride a bike and played with a balloon... but we just could not hold out until it was dark enough for fireworks. About 15 minutes before they started we had to go to bed.... oh well, there is always next year!
